Jasmine De La Torre,
- MSW
Mental Health Therapist
Jasmine was born and raised in San Diego, CA. She grew up the oldest of six, and spent a lot of her time playing soccer until she learned about the concept of social work. The path to social work came from a place of her own experiences of mental health and a desire to support others in the way she was uplifted by her first therapist. Jasmine is also extremely passionate about fighting for social justice, and sought her MSW because of a social worker’s ability to bring that battle to life every single day.
For the past 3 years, she has interned and worked in school’s all around San Diego County in school social work and school-based mental health. The fire to empower youth through the barriers and challenges that heavily impact this time period of their life drives her to continue supporting in school systems.
She is humbled to have the ability to exist in this profession and walk alongside others while they embark on their own unique journeys. Jasmine looks to continue learning and growing, as this profession is sincerely a classroom for life.
Outside of work Jasmine enjoys being around loved ones, spending time in the gym, watching sports, practicing her own spirituality, and most importantly, buying sneakers.
