Mental Health Therapist

Cheyenne was born and raised in North County San Diego, a place she is proud to call home. However, seeking new experiences, she decided to live in another community on her own and attended UC Santa Barbara. Initially a biology major, Cheyenne soon realized that her passions lay elsewhere. After taking a comprehensive career assessment, her personality and skill traits finally made sense, leading her to trust the results and pursue a career in education and mental health awareness. This journey led Cheyenne to work with youth, from newborns to young adults, ultimately guiding her to a role as a mental health clinician in a school setting.

Cheyenne’s personal experiences with how mental health is viewed in different cultures and communities have deeply informed her interest in multicultural counseling. They earned a Master of Arts in Counseling, along with a Pupil Personnel Services School Counseling credential and an Associate Professional Clinical Counseling license from the University of San Diego. Currently working toward full licensure, Cheyenne aspires to empower youth, educate future counselors and promote the journey that is mental health.

In her free time, Cheyenne enjoys watching TV and movies, taking nature walks to recharge, attending concerts, traveling and spending time with loved ones. They are fluent in English and Gujarati, and are also working on their Spanish skills.
