Diana Al Dikka

My pronouns are she/her(s) and I have proudly called San Diego home for the past 15 years. I earned my bachelor’s degree in clinical psychology from University of California, San Diego, where I immersed myself in the field through coursework and hands-on experience. I volunteered at the Crisis Text Line as a crisis counselor, which fueled my passion for mental health advocacy and counseling. Driven by my desire to deepen my impact in the community, I chose to pursue my masters in Social Work at San Diego State University. This decision stems from my aspiration to become a licensed therapist, dedicated to providing effective care to individuals in need. Last year, I interned at San Ysidro Behavioral Health, where I had the opportunity to work with refugee adults and elementary and middle school students. Supporting students inspired me to continue working with youths and to create safe and trusting spaces for them. In my free time, I enjoy reading novels, cooking, and spending time with my friends, family, and my two dogs.
